The Episcopal Church, perhaps because it lies somewhere between the Roman Catholic Church and the various Mainline Protestant Churches, attracts a great number of inquirers from other faith traditions. Still others come to the Episcopal Church without any history of affiliation with a specific tradition of faith. For these people new to the Episcopal Church and curious to know more, Ascension Church offers a series of Inquirers’ Classes. These classes offer a broad, yet somewhat detailed, overview of the history, theology, worship, and governing structure and practices of the Episcopal Church. These classes can also help prepare a person to be officially received into the Episcopal Church as a member. Classes are offered annually.
