AMC COMMUNITY OUTREACH PARTNERSHIP

WITH ST. STEPHEN’S, LYNN

to support their KIC Summer Program

serving ~50 children, 1st– 6th grade!

IT’S HERE!   We’ve kicked off AMC’s Community Outreach Committee’s partnership with Lynn’s St. Stephen’s Church, to support their KIC Summer Program.  KIC is a free 4-week summer camp run by St. Stephen’s for the Lynn community, serving local children in 1st - 6th grades.  We’ve been asked to donate educational toys, games and crafts that meet their needs.

Our KIC GIVING TREE will be in the sanctuary until June 16th. Please pick a tag — there are about 80 items, from coloring books and cans of Play Doh to Lego sets and baby dolls. Items need to be purchased and returned to the church before June 23rd. OR you can visit our KIC Amazon Wish List!

Volunteer to read to the campers!

Volunteers have to sign up for a particular day -

it cannot be a casual drop-in. Available days are:  

July 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31

Volunteers are encouraged to be at St. Stephen’s

9:45 a.m. - 12 noon.  Books will be provided by KIC.

(Please note that every volunteer must have an active CORI form, submitted within the past year. If you do not have an active CORI, we will provide you with a contact at St. Stephen’s who will complete, submit and pay for your CORI application before your volunteer date.)
